Instructions from the UK

Check for your outbound flight as early as you can, check that you can get a return flight on the day you want to leave.

Lower cost flights off season are less frequent so can be full. Summer flights are filled much quicker and can be harder to book. During school holidays you might get lucky. Try talking to Tom at www.flightholiday.co.uk

There are 2 suitable airports for access to Northern Cyprus, Ercan in the North, Larnaca to the West on the other side of the border.

Flights into Larnaca are served by many UK airports but involve a longer transfer to our Northwest coastal village. After crossing the border there is still the best part of an hour's journey to get to the house.

Flight time from about four and a half hours, with up to a couple of hours transfer. Border crossings are not a big deal to sensible travellers.

Flights into Ercan are slightly longer as the planes fly in with a touchdown stop in Turkey, where some people may leave or board, refuelling takes place and the crews swap over, before the flight recommences into Northern Cyprus.

Flight time from six hours with about one hour transfer.

If you hire a vehicle for your stay, you can take delivery at Ercan airport and drive to the house yourself. We can supply a map if you really want one. You can leave the vehicle at the airport at the end of your stay.
