We do not lease our property on a commercial basis but loan it out to friends and neighbours between our own periods of occupation which are now more frequent. If you are one of those people this is what you can expect.

We provide clean bed sheets and pillowcases, and towels,(White for use in the house,Coloured for swimming) a welcome pack (with the basic essentials), and all the bits and pieces you need to get comfy.

The house will be clean and aired and you will be told the key collection address .

Use of the swimming pools and all the other facilities are part of your holiday whilst staying, and the pool lights will usually go out shortly after ten at night. The pool is maintained every day and the loungers and mattresses are for use by all.

The beach is at the bottom right of the complex and swimming and snorkeling are safe pastimes. Away from the beach the shore ground is volcanic pumice and can be sharp.

Shoes with a good sole are best worn if walking or rambling and you should take water with you if you are going out for more than an hour.

We recommend you hire a vehicle for the duration of your stay, which can be delivered to the door. Prices vary significantly between suppliers and from season to season, for the same size of transport. These are best booked before departure, and a telephone number kept handy for last minute glitches. Hire cars are not legally drivable across the border as yet. Insurance is generally third party, so check if you want something more.

The nearest big towns are Kyrenia (also called Girne), and Guzelyurt but there are shops and eating places on the way. Both are about 25Km distant. Nicosia (that is Lefkosa), is about 40Km. You can drive across the island in a couple of hours and right along the top in half a day.

Many of the roads are in excellent condition and new ones are being built all the time. The rules are similar to the UK and they drive on our side of the road. Speeds are shown in KPH.
